Comprehensive Stool Analysis
What's Buggin' You?

Optimal gastrointestinal tract functioning is vital to our health.
Gut function and especially good gut ecology – maintaining a healthy balance of gut flora should be considered a key component to overall health. Many situations can contribute to an imbalance in the microbial flora of the digestive tract, including an unhealthy diet, inadequate digestive enzymes, not to mention our stressful lifestyles and the many pathogens that we can come into contact on a daily basis.
  • Fatty acids and probiotics have been used for centuries to help maintain a healthy balance of the microorganisms that normally live in the gastrointestinal tract.
  • But, what if there was more going on inside that belly; such as bacterial overgrowth, yeast presence, parasite activity, or a Helicobacter pylori infection?
  • These buggers create a state of chronic inflammation, often leading to chronic immune dysfunction and overall fatigue.
The Comprehensive Digestive Stool Analysis (CDSA)
Assessments of gastrointestinal function include the Comprehensive Digestive Stool Analysis yielding important information about the ecology of the GI tract, including:
  • Intestinal wall integrity
  • Small bowel bacterial overgrowth
  • Yeast presence
  • Immune function
  • Parasite activity
  • Helicobacter pylori infection
  • and specific intolerances.
The CDSA is used to identify microbial and yeast overgrowth (candida), inflammation, and “leaky gut”. The stool test also measures the level of good, healthy bacteria and identifies immune system deficiencies within the GI tract.  This test is ideal for determining if parasites or bacteria are present and the cause of low-grade chronic inflammation.

What Others Have to Say:
When I was unable to maintain the level of exercise my body was used to, I knew I needed to adjust my diet. Vicki gave me a program to follow, which was at first difficult. But like any habit, once I got through the initial changes, I was fine. Not only did I maintain, with some exercise, I am loosing the unwanted fat. I lost a size and a half on my waist and I've been able to keep that off for over 2 years. Thanks to Vicki's encouragement and consulting, I'm healthier and feel great.   - Ben C.
Vicki has been a key part in the recovery of my daughter's emotional and physical health. She caringly helped her to become more aware of how her eating habits were affecting her energy levels and sleeping habits.   - Debbie A.
